First time at Sip Sam Thai and I was thoroughly impressed! From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place values customer service. The staff was warm and attentive, making sure my dining experience was top-notch. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with delicious aromas wafting from the kitchen, making it feel like the perfect spot for both a casual lunch or a cozy dinner date. Cleanliness: The restaurant was spotless, which made me feel comfortable and assured that they take great care in maintaining their space. Food: I started with the Thai coffee, which was absolutely delicious - rich, smooth, and the perfect way to kick off my meal. For appetizers, I tried the spring rolls, and they were a standout! The basil inside really added a fresh, aromatic flavor that paired perfectly with the shrimp, rice noodles, and vegetables. The peanut sauce was the perfect accompaniment -- I couldn't get enough of it! I also ordered the calamari, which was fried to perfection with a light, crispy texture. The dipping sauce that came with it was just the right balance of tangy and savory. For my entrée, I had the papaya salad with shrimp (spicy), and I must say, this was one of the best papaya salads I've ever had! The flavors were fresh and vibrant, and the balance of spice, sweetness, and crunch was absolutely perfect. I could eat this every day! Overall Experience: I wholeheartedly recommend Sip Sam Thai to anyone. Whether you're looking for a relaxed lunch break or a place for a nice date night, this spot offers both. It's the kind of place where you can unwind, enjoy amazing food, and feel well taken care of. I'll definitely be back! Rating: 10/10. Highly recommend!

Pretty good, pretty standard. They always deliver fair service and it's a good place to have lunch. The pad thai is really good.

Decided to give Sip Saam Thai a try after really enjoying my experience at another restaurant by the same owners (Lemongrass by Sip Saam Thai). Just like Lemongrass, the food here is outstanding with generous size portions. I recently tried the massaman chicken curry which was so flavorful! I also enjoyed an eggplant stir fry dish and their tom kha soup. Service was quick and friendly. I will definitely be back to try more!

This Thai restaurant in our cozy corner of Jollyville has quickly become my new favorite place to eat close to home. As someone who's pretty picky about Thai food, I can confidently say this place is outstanding! The flavors are authentic, and the quality of every dish I tried was top-notch. Unfortunately, I didn't capture many pictures, but I did manage to snap one of the grilled lamb, which was exceptional - tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I can't recommend this dish enough if you're a lamb lover! Aside from the lamb, I also tried their large, crispy eggrolls, which were delicious and packed with filling, and a green curry that was so incredible I ordered an extra to take home for later in the week. The green curry had the perfect balance of spice and richness, with fresh ingredients that really brought the flavors to life. The service was another highlight of the experience: quick, friendly, and attentive. The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in, which is exactly how it should be here in Texas! If you're in the area and craving Thai food, do yourself a favor and give this place a try - it's well worth the visit.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. However, I found the spice levels in the dishes to be quite weak. If you're looking for that authentic kick, you might be disappointed. On the positive side, the Drunken Noodles were a highlight of the meal--definitely a must-try! They were flavorful and perfectly cooked. I also enjoyed the fried rice, which was delicious and packed with flavor. Unfortunately, the spring roll was a letdown. It was pretty flavorless, and I won't be ordering it again. On a positive note, you absolutely must order the soup! It was rich and comforting, making it the standout dish of the evening.

Whenever my friends ask me which Thai restaurant we go to, I always recommend Sip Saam Thai! I'm a huge yellow curry fan, and theirs is SO good! The potatoes are well-soaked in the broth, and the broth itself is ADDICTING. Whenever I'm there during lunch, I always make sure to have their Thai iced tea with my meal. It's refreshing and very concentrated! I also love how clean the restaurant is and how pretty the place looks! I always forget to take a picture because I immediately dig in as soon as the plate hits the table! But hopefully next time I'll get to take a picture for y'all :)

Finally found a good thai place - finally!!! Pad thai/ finally a good pad thai place in Atx! Eggplant tofu stir fry- amazing! Pad kra pow- i was with a group so we ordered this item. My first time trying it was delicious. They have good amount of seating, good parking spots. Nice workers! Happy hour ends at 5 which is so early but it's half off apps. Cream cheese wontons and egg rolls are amazing! One of my new favorite restaurants. I'm from the West coast and didn't realize how tough it is to find good pad thai! Why do places in austin make it "spicy"?! pad thai is supposed to be sweet with tamarind sauce! This place does it right :)

Wow - the food here was amazing! Got family style the other night and tried a bit of everything and not a single bad dish. Tried pad Thai, pad see ew, crab fried rice, ribs, massaman curry, yellow curry, and mango sticky rice. All of it was flavorful and the food came out so quick! It was quiet when we went and spacious and clean. Definitely look forward to coming back.

Papaya salad (som tum): it's very good. The papaya is crunchy. It's sour but not overwhelmingly sour. It's a nice balance of spices. Pad-cha seafood: delicious . I love the bamboo shoots. Drunken noodles: just classic and they didn't mess it up.
